A Servant Organization for Jesus event on Sept. 18 will offer Central Florida pastors and lay ministers a one-day seminar that will focus on maintaining healthy, active churches and private schools.
The Rev. Drexel Brunson, former pastor of First Assembly of God in Ocala, will be leading the sessions, which will be hosted by Meadowbrook Church.
Meadowbrook Pastor Tim Gilligan will speak during one session on priorities, decisions and planning.
With a church membership of 4,500, Gilligan said his ministers are already practicing many of the principles that will be presented during the seminar.
“I think you grow by exposure,” Gilligan said. “It’s kind of a life principle with me. Jesus said, ‘I will build my church and the gates of hell will not stand against it.’ Eighty-six percent of churches have plateaued or are declining, so this seminar is a good resource.” READ MORE…
